Even though English is an official language in Kenya, assimilating to a new culture presented unique challenges, especially when kids would make fun of my accent and name. But I didn't let that stop me.
I was fortunate to attend a magnet high school with specialized programs in aviation and computer science. These programs drew and nurtured my passion for technology and programming, ultimately shaping who I am today.
